A MUST DO! 4 & 1/4 Stars for Tony's. THE BEST ITALIAN MINESTRONE SOUP IN TOWN - TASTES LIKE SOMEONE 'S ITALIAN GRANDMA MADE IT. They have Free Street Parking here. Make sure you GPS this place because there are a number of Tony's in Burbank & are not affiliated with this Tony's. They've been here since 1979. They have a couple of tables & Chairs Outside & More Tables & Chairs Inside as well.
INSIDERS TIP #1 Check in with Yelp & with any Purchase you will get a small bag of Chips for FREE. There are several types to Choose From
INSIDERS TIP #2 Are you a Student on a Budget with Bare Pockets. They've got you covered. Show them your ID & Get a  20% Discount.
They make their Sandwiches Completely different from other Sub Shops. They don't just stuff the ingredients in between the bread like every other shop.  They do something unique & different here. They slice the sub so it has a layer of bread in the middle. So when you eat it it goes like this: the bottom is bread,  then the ingredients, then a middle bread slice, then more ingredients & then the top bread. It has a great contrast between the soft bread & the ingredients that has a Great mouth feel.                                                                                  I checked in here with Yelp & got my Free bag of chips, a Large Tony's Special Italian Cold Cuts that was GOOOOOOD! & a Quart of their Italian Minestrone Soup - THE SOUP IS THE BOMB! DELICIOUS!
It used to be, you had to have mega bucks & be really rich to have the Good Life, not anymore. The Game has changed. You've been Upgraded. Now You Can
Live Like a King on a Limited Budget!

We stopped here for lunch today and weren't super impressed. Nothing we ordered was bad but nothing was exceptionally good, either.

My husband had a large sausage sub and was surprised that the cheese on it wasn't melted. He said the marinara sauce was good and that the sub as a whole was okay.

I had the pizza bread and small salad combo. The salad was fresh and reminded me of the salads my Italian family ate when I was growing up. The pizza bread was similar to French bread pizza. I don't know what I expected but not that. However, it was tasty enough. Their marinara is really tasty.

Probably won't be back, as we have Tony's Market, Pinocchio's, and Cavaretta's for our Italian deli needs. Glad we gave it a shot, though.

I always was a fan and my office has been getting Tony's for years but today my boyfriend went and got a sandwich and got yelled at because the woman working couldn't understand what he was trying to order.  My boyfriend is mentally ill so this was extra confusing and cfor him to navigate. And to clarify, he said she really was yelling, not just being mad. He didn't want to upset her so he just got two specials. And he still asked for no mayo and peppers for mine and no cheese for him and she just basically made whatever she wanted and didn't even accommodate us. I work pretty long hours so I really needed a meal I could get nourishment from but I was barely able to get through my sandwich because it had all this meat I didn't want and mayo. Pretty disappointed.

Wow this response is completely unacceptable. My boyfriend works at a restaurant too so he completely capable of making an order. The woman responding must be the same woman who teated my boyfriend so poorly. "Please understand it is challenging for our restaurant workers to understand you boyfriend in this situation." Are you kidding me?

Really good! On a corner so easy parking in the residential area. After hearing about this place from coworkers for a while, I finally had the opportunity to try it. Had the small turkey. For $10 it wasn't really small, and also was super tasty! And I was able to get a bag of chips for free for checking in on yelp. Minimal seating inside and outside, in case you're not ordering to go. I'll definitely be back, only wish it was open longer hours.
